This is a virtual event.
This introductory course covers the history of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), important floodplain management terms and their definitions, as well as basic NFIP requirements.
Continuing Education Credits and/or Professional Development Hours:
- Certified Floodplain Manager, ASFPM: 1 credit
- Code Credit, New York State Department of State: 1 hour
Because this is a virtual class, this is a two-step registration process. You will pay for the training here at nyfloods.org. You will then receive an event registration confirmation email that will include a link to register for the Go To Webinar class. You must complete both steps in order to attend the class.
