FEMA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE TRAINING AVAILABLE

The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) offers self-paced courses designed for people who have emergency management responsibilities and the general public. All are offered free-of-charge to those who qualify for enrollment. A new online training opportunity is now available: IS-0285 Substantial Damage Estimation for Floodplain Administrators. This training is designed to assist tribal, local, and state officials in making substantial damage determinations in accordance with the NFIPP using the FEMA Substantial Damage Estimator software. For more information and to access the course, visit the FEMA EMI website.
