Description: Navigating multiple federal and state portals to gather regulatory, engineering, and environmental data can be challenging and time-consuming. In this webinar, “Floodplain Mapping Viewers & Digital Resources,” floodplain administrators, engineers, planners, GIS specialists, and community leaders can learn how to efficiently locate effective and historic Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and other non-regulatory Flood Risk Products. We will also cover how to evaluate and use base level engineering or preliminary data, source hydraulic model input files and community-specific data related to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and utilize state resilience tools for local mitigation projects.
